VARIETE Illusion of Boundaries

Variete "Illusion of Boundaries" is a show that concludes two weeks of circus workshops - the first such initiative in Rzeszów, organized by Teatr O with funding from the Rzeszów City Office and Podkarpackie Voivodeship.

International instructors of new circus came to the "Illusion Without Boundaries" project workshops:
André Hidalgo (contact juggling, France), Zuska Drobny (movement and contemporary dance, Slovakia), Alicja Mrozek (clowning, England), Daria Umanska (aerial acrobatics, Ukraine), Krzysiek Pacholik (juggling, Poland/Lublin), and Sebastian Frodyma (theatre and relaxation, Poland/Rzeszów).

The professional module participants will perform on stage - artists who make their living from art and came to Rzeszów to work with international instructors. Around 10 performers will present etudes from various disciplines: circus skills interweave here with illusion, dance, acrobatics, and juggling, creating forms difficult to classify definitively.
