mnogolun + applepicker

On 23 August, SPATiF hosts mnogolun+applepicker - a collaborative project by Ailar and Mikita Arlou. This will be their first full concert programme presented to Warsaw audiences, just before heading to Burning Man.

Ailar mnogolun is a vocalist, composer and producer working under the projects mnogolun and Ailar & the Moon Order. Her music blends art pop, soul, jazz, R&B and baroque pop with improvisation and theatricality as key elements of her creative practice. Mikita applepicker Arlou is a Belarusian multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer, known from bands including Javva and SOYUZ, whose tracks have aired on stations like KEXP and BBC Radio 6.

Their collaborative track won a competition run by music magazine Klik, and the accompanying video went viral on Belarusian internet. The concert brings together house, drum & bass, jersey club and other contemporary sounds with Belarusian language and improvisation.
