Nouvelle Vague "A Date with Depeche Mode", Hedone — Proxima, Warsaw

Nouvelle Vague is a Paris-based musical collective founded and led by Marc Collin, known for distinctive bossa nova-style covers of new wave songs. On January 30, 2027, the ensemble will perform at Proxima club in Warsaw, promoting their new album "A Date with Depeche Mode".

The album - the seventh in Nouvelle Vague's discography - is the group's first record dedicated entirely to the work of a single band. Thirteen Depeche Mode tracks have been rearranged and recorded in Rio de Janeiro with Brazilian musicians, performed by eleven international vocalists. The release is scheduled for October 2026. The lead single is a duet version of "Enjoy the Silence" featuring Skye Edwards (Morcheeba) and Larry Love (Alabama 3).

The concert will be opened by Hedone, a band from Łódź. Founded in the early 1990s by Maciej Werk, the group returned in 2020 after a 15-year hiatus with the album "2020", and released "600 Lat Samotności" in 2024 - nine Polish-language songs about transience and maturity, produced with Marcin Bors. The current lineup includes keyboardist Wojciech Król (Clicks, Controlled Collapse) and vocalist Izes. The band is currently working on new material - the first single "Nie mogę ci nic powiedzieć" will be released on August 28, 2026.
