Hania Derej Trio

Hania Derej Trio is a new project by composer and pianist Hania Derej, presenting her music in a contemporary form that blends electronic and jazz sounds with elements of neoclassicism. The trio's music alternates between moments of high intensity and controlled chaos with passages built on lyrical melodies, ostinatos, and repetitive patterns.

The material was created over the past two years while Hania travelled extensively, performed, and studied simultaneously at two institutions. For her, composing became a way to maintain balance and regain energy - emotions she wants to share with the audience during this concert.

Line-up:
Hania Derej - piano, keyboards, compositions
Mateusz Szewczyk - electric bass, double bass
Gniewomir Tomczyk - drums

Doors: 19:00 / Start: 20:30
