The Sixth Stave Part 1 and 2

"The Sixth Stave" is a theatrical production based on the first volume of "Jeżycjada" by Małgorzata Musierowicz - a coming-of-age story about first loves and family adventures set in 1970s Poznań's Jeżyce neighbourhood. At the heart of the narrative is Celestyna Żak, a likeable yet self-conscious teenager struggling with her reflection in the mirror, school responsibilities, and the bustle of family life - unaware that someone is watching her with hidden admiration.

For the first time on stage, both parts of "The Sixth Stave" are performed together as one complete production lasting 120 minutes with an intermission.

The set design is inspired by retro style, with music arranged by Krzysztof Preyer and choreography by Natalia Jaeschke. Direction, musical arrangement, and lighting concept: Łukasz Chrzuszcz. Costumes and makeup: Magdalena Chrzuszcz. Set design: Magdalena Wilczyńska.
