Così fan tutte | Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Performance: 03.10.2026 | Saturday | 19:00 | live broadcast

Mozart's satirical comedy about capricious, youthful love. Directed by Phelim McDermott - described by The New York Times as "colorful and inventive" - the production draws inspiration from 1950s Coney Island and transposes this humorous tale to an amusement park on a seaside boardwalk, where two enamored couples surrender themselves (figuratively and literally) to a genuine carousel of emotions.

The roles of Fiordiligi and Dorabella are sung by soprano Federica Lombardi and mezzo-soprano Samantha Hankey. Their partners are tenor Duke Kim as Ferrando and baritone Andrey Zhilikhovsky as Guglielmo. Bass-baritone Gerald Finley returns in the role of the cynical Don Alfonso, and soprano Ana María Martínez embodies the witty maid Despina. The conductor is Nimrod David Pfeffer.

Creative team: Phelim McDermott (director), Tom Pye (set design), Laura Hopkins (costumes), Paule Constable (lighting), Tilman Michael (chorus master)

Duration: 3 hours and 57 minutes [1 intermission]
