Carmen

The ballet Carmen in a new choreography comes to Katowice for a single performance on Monday, 30 November 2026 at 7 p.m. at Katowice Miasto Ogrodów. The production, which has won acclaim from Warsaw audiences, is part of an expanded tour across Poland-Carmen will be staged in six cities from Białystok to Kielce. Katowice Miasto Ogrodów, a cultural institution housed in a 1979 building in late modernist style on Plac Sejmu Śląskiego, provides an ideal setting for this work. The new version of the ballet offers a fresh perspective on the classical story.
