André Rieu. Long Live Maastricht!

The 20th anniversary broadcast of André Rieu's summer concert from Maastricht comes to cinemas in autumn 2026. In July, the Maestro and his Johann Strauss Orchestra will perform for the twentieth time on Vrijthof - the famous square in the heart of this Dutch city - with a new show titled "Long Live Maastricht!".

The programme features waltzes and marches by Johann Strauss the Elder and Younger, songs from the musicals "My Fair Lady" and "Les Misérables", and other works including Ennio Morricone's "Gabriel's Oboe" from the film "The Mission". The stage will host the Platinum Tenors, internationally renowned sopranos, and artists performing on Vrijthof for the first time. The repertoire includes "The Blue Danube" and "Radetzky March".

For Polish audiences, the broadcast will be hosted by Maja Jasińska - flautist of the Johann Strauss Orchestra. Through her commentary, viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look and watch an exclusive interview with André Rieu filmed specially for Polish cinema audiences.
