"SWINGIN' ZAUCHA" – KRZYSZTOF HERDZIN – Featuring / CHOPIN UNIVERSITY BIG BAND / PIOTR KOSTRZEWA

"Swingin' Zaucha" is a project that reimagines the greatest hits of Andrzej Zaucha through big-band arrangements inspired by the style of American big bands from the era of Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, and contemporary acts like Michael Bublé and Matt Dusk. Zaucha's covers are performed by Anna Szarmach, Natalia Muiangi, Wojtek Myrczek, and Sławek Uniatowski.

The arrangements and conducting are by Krzysztof Herdzin, a 13-time Gold and 4-time Platinum Record recipient for his work as an arranger. During the concert, Herdzin also hosts the programme and shares anecdotes from Andrzej Zaucha's life. The concert recording will feature the Chopin University Big Band conducted by Piotr Kostrzewa. Among the guests is Henryk Miśkiewicz, nominated for the Fryderyk Award 2025 for his album "Come Back". The release will be issued under the Polish Radio label.

Tickets cost 100 PLN. They will be available at the box office of the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio one hour before the concert, subject to availability.
