The theatre relay returns to cinemas after more than a decade. Helen Mirren takes on the role of Queen Elizabeth II in the Olivier and Tony Award®-winning production directed by Stephen Daldry, broadcast live from London's West End in 2013.
For 60 years, Queen Elizabeth II held weekly private meetings with each of the 12 British Prime Ministers. She advised them — from Winston Churchill, through Margaret Thatcher, to David Cameron — on both public and personal matters. These private audiences offer a glimpse into the woman behind the crown and the moments that shaped the monarchy.
