André Rieu. Long Live Maastricht!

Broadcast of the summer concert from Maastricht 2026

In July 2026, André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra will perform for the twentieth time on Vrijthof - the famous square in Maastricht. In autumn, this concert will be released in cinemas worldwide, including Poland.

The programme features waltzes and marches by Johann Strauss the Elder and Younger, songs from the musicals "My Fair Lady" and "Les Misérables", as well as "Gabriel's Oboe" by Ennio Morricone from the film "The Mission". The stage will feature the Platinum Tenors, internationally renowned sopranos, and artists performing on Vrijthof for the first time. The new show "Long Live Maastricht!" is a jubilee tribute to the Maestro's hometown - where it all began twenty years ago.

The Polish broadcast will be hosted by Maja Jasińska, oboist of the Johann Strauss Orchestra. Viewers will see behind-the-scenes material and an interview with André Rieu conducted exclusively for the Polish cinema audience.

Duration: approximately 3 hours and 5 minutes (including one intermission). Polish subtitles.
