The Common Room

We are in Gdańsk in 1945. The first Christmas holidays since the end of the war are approaching. The city centre, almost completely destroyed, resembles a sea of ruins, but life is being reborn on the outskirts. Here converge waves of human fates, seeking a place in a world being born anew. The play unfolds in a single room where the destinies of different people meet - those who survived the war, those who are returning, and those trying to start over.
