16. Lublin Jazz Festiwal: Forever Ahead: TOMEKA REID QUARTET (US)

The Tomeka Reid Quartet emerges from the AACM circle in Chicago and ranks among the leading ensembles of the contemporary creative music and improvised jazz scene. At the helm of the quartet is Tomeka Reid – cellist and composer, whom "The New York Times" called a "New Jazz Power Source". Her music blends groove with open composition and improvisational freedom, balancing structure with spontaneity.

During the concert, the ensemble will showcase their latest album "dance! skip! hop!".
