The Abduction of Europe

"The Abduction of Europe" by Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz is a farce pushed to the limits of the genre – the titular Europe stands before the audience stripped bare, literally divested of its costume. Modernity sees in it only rags, serving for casual masquerades that lead to emptiness and meaninglessness.

The performance is both brilliantly comic and ruthlessly precise – light form mingles with a bitter diagnosis of a culture devoid of meaning, tradition, and values. The main roles are performed by: Małgorzata Mikołajczak, Lidia Sadowa, Marta Dylewska, Maciej Wyczański, Leszek Zduń, Robert Latusek, and Filip Orliński. Direction: Jarosław Gajewski. Reduced-price tickets are available to students, seniors over 60, people with disabilities, and holders of the Large Family Card. Holders of the National Senior Card (OKS) receive a 5% discount.
