A theatrical adaptation of Peter Weir's film. At Welton Academy, an elite all-boys boarding school, a new English teacher – John Keating – challenges the school's four pillars (tradition, honour, discipline, excellence) with his own vision of education: rooted in curiosity about the world, sensitivity to literature, independent thinking, and the development of individual passions.
His students bring these values to life by founding a secret poetry club. The production asks: what will prevail – strictly observed tradition or the right to dreams, freedom, and youthful rebellion?
