WYSPIANSKI'S STAINED GLASS STORIES / GROTESKA THEATRE / FESTIVAL OF THE YOUNGEST 2026

A performance by Groteska Theatre inspired by the paintings and stained glass works of Stanisław Wyspiański. The creators approach the artist not through his literary or dramatic legacy, but through the sensitivity with which he discovered the world as a child – light and shadow, colour and form, Kraków's Planty and Błonia.

In this theatrical journey, the performance draws on Wyspiański's Herbarium, stained glass windows, and portraits. It employs elements of light, shadow, and movement theatre. Audiences explore alongside the protagonist the blending of colours and the diversity of plant life.
