FUTUROFONIA FESTIVAL

FUTUROFONIA Festival, organized by the Baltic Opera in Gdańsk, is an interdisciplinary project placing the human voice at the centre of artistic experimentation — as a carrier of emotion, technology, and new forms of expression.

The festival programme extends beyond traditional vocalism: it encompasses electroacoustic experiments, sound performances, field recordings, sound installation art, and live improvisation featuring dance and multimedia. Contemporary performance practices and 21st-century aesthetics serve as its reference points.
