WSPAK

Concert as part of the 12th Festival "World of Music. Music of the World".

The WSPAK duo is formed by Adrianna Maria Kafel-Woźniak and Aleksandra Pura-Cidyło. The artists have been performing together since around 2006, since their secondary school days. Their shared musical exploration and similar sensibility led to the creation of their own arrangements of borderland songs.

The duo's repertoire consists mainly of music from the eastern borderlands — specifically the territories that Kolberg called Podlasian "Ruskie", with its characteristic dialect formed by a blend of Belarusian, Ukrainian, and Polish — as well as Lemko music.
