"Still I Rise – Echoes of Time" is the programme of Anna Gadt's quartet – a vocalist, improviser and composer from Kutno, also known in her hometown as Anna Stępniewska. The artist, nominated four times for the Fryderyk Award and known for bold avant-garde projects, this time turns to jazz standards and beloved songs.
The concert programme will feature, among others: "Here's to Life" by Shirley Horn, "Both Sides Now" by Joni Mitchell, "Why Should I Care" by Clint Eastwood, "Lawns" by Carli Bley and "The Peacocks" by Jimmy Rowles.
Anna Gadt will be accompanied by musicians who have collaborated with her for over 20 years and are associated with the RGG trio – Maciej Garbowski and Krzysztof Gradziuk – as well as pianist Paweł Kaczmarczyk.
