About: Skalpel

Wrocław-based duo Marcin Cichy and Igor Pudło have spent over two decades weaving Polish jazz heritage from the Komeda era into electronic club music - hip-hop rhythms, downtempo textures and drum and bass energy all in one. Their 2004 Ninja Tune debut redrew the map of Polish electronica and the records that followed it have kept collectors and crate-diggers coming back ever since.

Skalpel released 'Recut' (November 15, 2024 via NoPaper Records), a 15-track remix album of their 2004 Ninja Tune debut, marking its 20th anniversary, with contributions from leading Polish producers including Magiera, Emade, Latarnik and Envee.
