The next hero of Jazz Cats will be Bill Evans – an American jazz pianist and composer, recognized as one of the greatest musicians in jazz history. He achieved worldwide fame through his collaboration with Miles Davis, participating in the recording of the groundbreaking album Kind of Blue, which forever changed the face of improvised music. He gained the most recognition as the leader of his own piano trios, in which he developed an innovative approach to dialogue between instruments, giving the bass and drums an equal role in the musical narrative. Evans created a unique musical language based on subtle harmony, lyricism, and sophisticated improvisation, inspiring generations of jazz pianists to come.
