Kuba Więcek and Jazz Cats celebrate the music of Chick Corea, a legendary jazz pianist and composer.
Kuba Więcek (born 1994 in Rybnik) is a Polish alto saxophonist, composer and producer who trained at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen under Lee Konitz, Steve Lehman and David Binney. His 2017 debut album "Another Raindrop", released in the legendary Polish Jazz series, won the Fryderyk Award for Jazz Debut of the Year and made him the youngest artist ever to appear in that series. Beyond his jazz trio, he leads the band hoshii - blending jazz with hip-hop and electronics - and has been named by DownBeat magazine among 25 musicians worldwide with the potential to shape the future of jazz.
