Legendary Canadian band Voivod returns to Poland! The Canadians will perform on July 27 at Drizzly Grizzly in Gdańsk and the next day at Warsaw's Hydrozagadka.

Although Voivod is not a band that sells out stadiums, it is hard to imagine the history of metal without albums like "Killing Technology", "Dimension Hatröss" and "Nothingface". The band elevated thrash metal to a higher level, building on dissonant progressions and slightly jazzy riffs, all enhanced by lyrics in which science fiction meets commentary on the political world.

They have been playing continuously since 1982, releasing a total of 15 albums that have influenced different generations. Voivod has a reputation as an innovative band, but also as an excellent live act, which you have undoubtedly had the chance to experience many times. If not, you absolutely must catch up.
