The Bad Plus - Farewell Tour — Klub Jassmine, Warsaw

After a quarter century of activity, Reid Anderson and Dave King feel that as The Bad Plus they have already shared everything they had to give. The 2026 farewell tour is the last chance to see this iconic band live and celebrate together one of the most influential and daring formations of contemporary jazz. Each concert will be a journey through their entire career — a tribute to the music, spirit, and innovation that have defined The Bad Plus from the very beginning.

Since their 1999 debut, The Bad Plus have continuously pushed the boundaries of what jazz can and should be. From their earliest years, their distinctive compositions coexisted with unconventional interpretations of works beyond the hermetic world of jazz — from Ornette Coleman, through Black Sabbath and Aphex Twin, to Cole Porter, Pixies, and Nirvana. Their eclecticism was sometimes mistakenly perceived as irony, when in fact it was a way to express emotions and ideas unreachable by other means, in the spirit of boldness that has always been the foundation of true jazz.

Their legendary 2003 album These Are Vistas was recognized by NPR (All Songs Considered) as one of the 50 most important recordings of the decade. Today, with the release of their 18th album, the band continues to create wild, unpredictable music entirely independent of convention.

The concert at Jassmine will be their last concert in Poland.
