Marek Napiórkowski Sextet

The Napiórkowski Sextet is a collection of personalities that can confidently be called an "All Stars" ensemble. It is music full of energy and mutual interactions between the artists. The formation, consisting of six exceptional musicians and outstanding representatives of the Polish jazz scene, is a blend of vibrant, energetic improvised music with expressive solo passages, as well as refined lyrical ballads. The musicians subject well-known compositions from studio recordings to virtuosic improvisation, including pieces from the FRYDERYK '14 Award-nominated album UP!, oscillating between sublime lyricism and vibrant expression. The recording of the Marek Napiórkowski Sextet concert is the FRYDERYK Award-nominated album "Sextet – Trójka Live" from 2016.
