Marek Napiórkowski (born 1969 in Jelenia Góra) is a Polish jazz guitarist and composer widely regarded as the leading figure of his generation in Poland. He has appeared on more than 150 albums, collaborating with artists such as Pat Metheny, Marcus Miller, Anna Maria Jopek and Tomasz Stańko, and has toured across Europe, North America, Asia and South America. In 2019 he won the Fryderyk Music Award - Poland's most prestigious music prize - in both the Jazz Musician of the Year and Jazz Album of the Year categories, having been nominated sixteen times. He also teaches at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and hosts a regular jazz programme on Radio Nowy Świat.
