BIG CLASSICS: DILATED PEOPLES
BIG CLASSICS is a series of concerts dedicated to rap's roots — the artists and music that built the culture. It is a continuation of the story from which everything began.
As part of the cycle, Dilated Peoples will perform in Wrocław this summer — a legendary crew from Los Angeles that for years perfectly balanced between underground and mainstream, never losing their DNA.
Evidence, Rakaa, and DJ Babu created one of the most recognizable West Coast lineups — with classics such as "Worst Comes To Worst" (featuring Guru from Gang Starr), "This Way," and "Back Again." Their catalog is the essence of conscious, uncompromising rap from the turn of the 90s and 2000s.
Albums like "The Platform, Expansion Team," "Neighborhood Watch," and later "Directors of Photography" show how consistently Dilated Peoples developed their style, remaining true to the sound they became known for.
BIG CLASSICS returns to the roots. The return of Dilated Peoples to Poland is the next chapter in this story.
