Butcher Brown, a quintet from Richmond, Virginia, has been creating their own blend of jazz, hip-hop, soul, funk, and R&B for over 15 years. The band is now promoting their latest album Letters from the Atlantic — a musical journey along the eastern coast of the USA, from Chesapeake Bay through New York to Florida.

On the record you'll find both danceable, groovy compositions and more jazzy sounds, enriched by guest appearances including Yaya Bey, Melanie Charles, Victoria Victoria, and Nicholas Payton. It's a fresh, energetic take on contemporary music inspired by the rich tradition of Black musical culture.
