Rivers of Nihil, one of the most compelling representatives of contemporary progressive death metal, will perform on June 25 at the Hybrydy club!

On their latest self-titled album, the Americans have distilled the essence of their previous work and infused it with fresh energy. This is a record that bridges all stages of their career: the technical precision of their early recordings, the experimental ambitions of "Where Owls Know My Name" and "The Work", while delivering more direct, heavy-hitting compositions. Lineup changes—Adam Biggs as lead vocalist and the addition of Andy Thomas (ex-Black Crown Initiate)—have injected the band with new dynamism, which we already felt at their recent show at Proxima.

Rivers of Nihil's style is progressive death metal with a broad horizon: alongside powerful riffs and technical precision, elements of post-metal, ambient, electronics, and even saxophone and string instruments emerge.
