Laura Misch

Laura Misch is a London-born saxophonist, vocalist and songwriter, electronic music producer and field recorder whose work is shaped by elemental motifs, primal rhythms and clouds of sound.
Her latest projects weave together three main means of expression — saxophone, voice and synthesis — in new music to be presented at concerts and released in 2026. Developing her electroacoustic sound and drawing from the legacy of pioneering electronic music artists, Laura is working on a programme centred on the primal sounds of air, water and stone, inviting listeners to deep listening and contemplation through compositions and sonic landscapes.
Her 2024 project Sample The Earth, highlighted by The Guardian as one of the "Top 10 Contemporary Albums of 2024", emerged from her well-received debut Sample The Sky and her own EPs Playground and Lonely City. Together they form a coherent and rich musical body of work grounded in mindfulness and relationships.
Beyond the studio, Misch leads sound walks, creates ambient "cloud baths" in abandoned spaces and collaborates with the eco-social design studio Holobiont to return her music to the natural environments that inspire her. Her recent Slow Tour was a visionary reinterpretation of concert-going, weaving together ecology, reflection and community in an experience of shared, mindful listening.
