About

Laura Misch is a South London-born saxophonist, singer-songwriter, electronic producer and field recordist, and the older sister of guitarist Tom Misch. Her music weaves saxophone, voice and synthesis into an electro-acoustic sound shaped by nature, deep listening and elemental themes. Her 2023 debut album Sample the Sky was followed by the acoustic companion piece Sample the Earth (2024), which The Guardian named one of its Top 10 Contemporary Albums of the year. Her second studio album Lithic arrived in June 2026, recorded across Cornish caves and quarries, the Greek island of Hydra and the pebble desert of Dungeness.
