MARC ALMOND: THE VOICE OF SOFT CELL. FOUR DECADES SOLO.
Vocalist. Songwriter. One of the most original voices of his generation. Tainted Love. Say Hello Wave Goodbye. Bedsitter. Torch. As the voice of the duo Soft Cell, he sings in the song that spent the longest time in US Billboard Top 100 history – and won the first Brit Award. 38 million records sold. Officer of the Order of the British Empire for outstanding services to art and culture.

Since 1984, he has gone his own way. Marc and the Mambas. Chanson. Jacques Brel – the artist's heirs consider Marc the greatest living interpreter of his songs. Duet with Gene Pitney: Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart, number one in the UK for five weeks. In 2004, he learned to sing again after a motorcycle accident and two weeks in a coma. Today he sings better than ever.

He appeared at Soundedit twice, in 2013 and 2021. Although Dave Ball passed away in October 2025, they managed to record the final Soft Cell album "Danceteria", which is being released right now. Marc Almond returns to Soundedit, closing the story that began back in 1979.

WOLFGANG FLÜR: THE MAN WHO WAS A ROBOT IN KRAFTWERK
Drummer. Architect of rhythm. One of four musicians who created the sound on which all electronic music of the last fifty years is based. Autobahn. Trans-Europe Express. The Model. The Robots. Computer World. As a member of Kraftwerk from 1973 to 1987, he recorded albums that defined techno, synth-pop, and all dance music. In 2021, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

For years, he has created his own shows. His album Times is a meeting that seemed impossible: Boris Blank (Yello), Peter Hook (Joy Division / New Order), Thomas Bangalter (Daft Punk), Juan Atkins – godfather of Detroit techno – and Emil Schult. His autobiography "I Was a Robot" has sold tens of thousands of copies. Fifty years after Autobahn's release – Flur is still behind the wheel.
