A band from Baltimore, formed by Owen Gardner, Max Eilbacher, Sam Haberman, and Andrew Bernstein, has spent years developing a unique blend of experimental rock, polyrhythms, and microtonal structures. Now they return with a new hypnotic vision of sound and a new album titled "Demand to Be Taken to Heaven Alive!" (Release: 12.06.2026, RVNG Intl.) Horse Lords
Horse Lords is a band founded in 2010 in Baltimore by Sam Haberman, Owen Gardner, and Max Eilbacher, soon joined by saxophonist Andrew Bernstein. Though rooted in the noise and experimental rock scene, their music transcends genre boundaries, drawing from many traditions and inspirations.
Over more than a decade of intensive touring, they have released numerous albums and collaborated with composer Arnold Dreyblatt, among others. Since 2021, part of the band has been based in Europe, opening new directions for development and collaboration.
On the album "Demand To Be Taken To Heaven Alive!" (RVNG Intl.), Horse Lords expand their lineup.
