Theatre of Warsaw University of Technology: "Twelfth Night"

William Shakespeare's comedy of errors tells the story of Viola, whose ship is wrecked during a storm, and the sea casts her ashore on the mysterious island of Illyria. After assuming a false identity, she makes her way to the court of Duke Orsino, who is madly in love with the neighbouring Countess Olivia. The characters become entangled in a strange and surprising love triangle, and their fates intertwine with the intrigues of characters surrounding the courts of Olivia and Orsino - Sir Toby and Sir Andrew, maid Maria and courtier Fabian against the Countess's right hand - the villainous Malvolio. The entire story is complemented by the Clowns, who aptly comment on the complexity of the plot, and the excited Courtiers and Lovelaces, the courtiers of Duke Orsino and Countess Olivia.

What turn will events take and what will change with the sudden appearance of Sebastian, Viola's lost brother, along with his companion Antonio?

Will they manage to unravel the tangled love triangle without broken hearts and spines? And will the game of playing roles and creating intrigues not lead our heroes beyond the bounds of propriety?
