The Cure is a British rock band formed in 1976 in Crawley, fronted by Robert Smith. The band is one of the defining acts of post-punk and gothic rock, known for albums such as Disintegration (1989) and Wish (1992), and hits including „Lovesong" and „Friday I'm in Love".
