Ayanna Witter-Johnson

Ayanna Witter-Johnson - vocalist, cellist and composer nominated for the MOBO Award - will perform at Jassmine for the first time. The concert will feature material from her latest album New Roots, exploring themes of identity, memory, spirituality and the search for roots. The programme includes "You Can Have Everything", "Equinox" and "Pioneers".

The artist has collaborated with Andrea Bocelli, Peter Gabriel, Nitin Sawhney and Anoushka Shankar, and her work has been championed by Gilles Peterson and Jools Holland. This Jassmine concert is her only performance in Poland.
