"Tangled in Wild Wine" - Artur Gotz Sings Marek Grechuta — Zieliński Palace in Kielce, Kielce

This concert promotes Artur Gotz's seventh album and commemorates the 80th anniversary of Marek Grechuta's birth and the 20th anniversary of his death. Gotz does not imitate the originals - instead, he offers his own interpretation, blending classical instrumentation with electronic elements and contemporary sound.

The programme features both well-known songs - "Don't Misbehave", "You'll Be My Lady", "Rescue from Oblivion", "Tangled in Wild Wine", "World in Clouds", "Korowód", "Hop a Glass of Beer" - and rarely performed pieces: "Power", "Sleep - Dream Tales" and "Old Story (Athens)", one of Grechuta's last recordings. The concert also includes "Carousel with Madonnas" from Ewa Demarczyk's repertoire, with music by Zygmunt Konieczny - an artist Gotz has collaborated with since his debut at Piwnica pod Baranami.

The choice of this piece is no accident: it was Ewa Demarczyk who inspired Marek Grechuta to sing, and Artur Gotz dedicated his master's thesis to her.
