Dreams of Trains

Based on Denis Johnson's acclaimed novel, this film is a portrait of Robert Grainier (Golden Globe nominee Joel Edgerton) - a man whose life unfolds during a time of profound change in early 20th-century America.

Orphaned as a young boy, Robert grows up in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, where he works building America's railroad empire. After tender courtship, he marries Gladys (Oscar nominee Felicity Jones) and together they build a home, though his work often keeps him away from his wife and young daughter.

When fate unexpectedly transforms his life, Robert confronts anew the beauty, brutality, and deeper meaning of the forests and trees he has spent years felling.
