JuMa

As part of the JAZZ PO POLSKU "Warsaw Live Sessions" project, another concert in the series showcasing the best of the Polish jazz scene and international guests will take place.

JuMa is a young jazz ensemble from Gdańsk founded by saxophonist and composer Maksymilian Wilk. The group performs original music combining jazz, improvisation, and contemporary compositional forms, drawing from free jazz and Scandinavian aesthetics. The ensemble is a laureate and finalist of the Jazz Juniors Competition 2025, Sibiu Jazz Festival, and the Jazz Ensembles Review at Club Ucho. Their discography includes the albums "Live in Oliva" (2024) and "Fuzje Trójmiasta" (2025), and they are currently working on the project "Between Tides". In 2026, JuMa completed an international concert tour covering the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Serbia, and North Macedonia.
