JAZZ PO POLSKU: Leśmian Suite
Klub Jassmine, Warsaw, Poland
90 zł
As part of the JAZZ PO POLSKU "Warsaw Live Sessions" project, another concert featuring Poland's leading jazz musicians will take place.
Leśmian Suite is a new project by Kuba Banaszek - pianist, composer, and improviser working at the intersection of contemporary jazz, improvised music, and popular music. The starting point was the poetry of Bolesław Leśmian. The project presents a cycle of vocal-instrumental compositions based on selected poems by the poet, forming a dramaturgically coherent suite in which word and sound remain in constant dialogue. The music does not illustrate the text but develops and reinterprets it - it operates through space, tension, and improvisation around Leśmian's metaphysics, sensuality, and mystery.

Zuza Baum - vocals
Tymon Trąbczyński - double bass
Szymon Madej - drums
