Chopin Concert in the Beautiful Fryderyk Concert Hall - Copy
Sala Koncertowa Fryderyk, Warsaw, Poland
Chopin concerts at the Fryderyk Concert Hall take place daily in Warsaw's Old Town. Each evening features approximately a 60-minute recital divided into two parts, inspired by 19th-century musical salons - performed at a Steinway & Sons piano, lit by candlelight.
The programme includes Chopin's nocturnes, mazurkas, waltzes, and etudes. The stage hosts pianists affiliated with Polish and international music conservatories and winners of piano competitions - both established professors of music academies and young virtuosos. The repertoire and performers change regularly.
The hall's interior was designed in a 19th-century-inspired style, created for intimate listening to music from close range.
