As part of the JAZZ PO POLSKU "Warsaw Live Sessions" project, Sylwester Ostrowski will perform his "One Voice" programme alongside Carlos Sarduy - a Cuban trumpeter, composer and three-time Grammy Award winner.
Sylwester Ostrowski is a saxophonist, composer, music producer and bandleader, as well as director of the Szczecin Jazz Festival. As leader of the Jazz Brigade and One Voice projects, he collaborates with musicians from Europe, the USA and Africa, promoting Polish jazz worldwide. His motto: "Bop for streets - jazz comes to you". Carlos Sarduy is regarded as one of the leading figures of contemporary Cuban jazz - he combines Afro-Cuban rhythms, jazz improvisation and electronic sounds.
On stage on 23 August: Sylwester Ostrowski (tenor saxophone), Carlos Sarduy (trumpet), Jakub Mizeracki (guitar), Michał Szkil (piano), Dominique Sanders (double bass), Owen Hart Jr (drums) and the vocalists of the "One Voice" programme.
