A Bed Full of Foreigners

A dark, dingy hotel on the French-German border has seen better days - the radiator leaks, the water tank is falling apart, and someone has mysteriously wallpapered over one of the doors. Manager Heinz and porter Kazek do their best to hide the disastrous state of the rooms, but through sheer absent-mindedness they double-book the last available room in town.

Into the room come, one after another: Brenda and Stanley Philby, English businessman John Parker, his wife Helga, and Simone. Unfulfilled in their relationships, these characters fall into a trap of desire that unleashes a cascade of lies - and nothing that day goes according to plan.
