Piotr Rachoń is a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he studied piano, harpsichord, and organ (1994) and music education with a focus on church music (2004), earning distinction on both diplomas. He completed postgraduate studies at the Chopin University (2006) and the Institute for Organist Training (1999). He was a fellow of the Italian government and the Polish Ministry of Culture and Art for a residency at Academia Chigiana in Italy (1994) and the Academie d`Orgue in Saint Maximin la Sainte-Baume (2009), as well as a fellow of the University of Houston and the Kosciuszko Foundation for doctoral studies in Houston. Since 2002, he has served as principal organist of the Archcathedral in Warsaw. He is a member of the Commission for Church Music in the Warsaw Archdiocese, a consultant for the Centre for Artistic Education in organ studies, and a longtime lecturer in musicology at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński Catholic University of Warsaw. He maintains an active concert career worldwide.

Concerts are performed on the mechanical organs built by Eule (1987), a 60-voice instrument located in the church choir loft.
