KinoMuzeum | NeSpoon | Meeting with the Artist and Lecture on Her Work | URBAN ART AREA 6
KINOMUZEUM, Warsaw, Poland
wstęp wolny
A meeting with NeSpoon - a lecture on the artist's work as part of the Urban Art Academy educational programme.
NeSpoon was born as an artist in 2009. Since then, her works have appeared on the streets of over 100 cities in more than 40 countries across 5 continents. She creates at the intersection of street art, traditional ceramics, and painting. She has participated in dozens of group exhibitions and held solo shows in Poland, France, Italy, and Australia, among others. Her works have entered institutional and private collections, including the Louvre-Lens Museum, and were also presented in the Polish pavilion at Expo2020 in Dubai and in the European Parliament in Brussels.
International recognition came to her through murals, in situ installations, and stencil graffiti inspired by lace-making art. However, the artist herself considers the core of her street activity to be labour-intensive ceramic street art - also called urban jewellery.
The screening takes place at KinoMuzeum at the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, as part of the Urban Art Area 6 series. Free admission, limited seating.
