André Rieu. Long Live Maastricht! — Contemporary Art Centre "Znaki Czasu" in Toruń, Toruń

In July 2026, André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra will perform at Vrijthof in Maastricht for the twentieth time - and come autumn, this concert will reach cinemas worldwide, including Poland.

The programme features waltzes and marches by Johann Strauss the Elder and Younger, hits from the musicals "My Fair Lady" and "Les Misérables", as well as Ennio Morricone's "Gabriel's Oboe" from the film "The Mission". Alongside the Platinum Tenors and internationally renowned sopranos, artists who have never before performed at Vrijthof will take the stage. The new show is titled "Long Live Maastricht!" and pays tribute to the Maestro's hometown - the place where it all began twenty years ago.

For Polish audiences, the broadcast will be hosted by Maja Jasińska, oboist with the Johann Strauss Orchestra. She will provide behind-the-scenes insights and an exclusive interview with André Rieu, filmed especially for Polish cinema audiences.
