Filharmonia Podkarpacka im. Artura Malawskiego is the leading concert venue in Rzeszów, housed in a modernist building from 1974 near the old town and Lubomirski Castle. Founded in 1955 as the Provincial Symphony Orchestra, it adopted its current name in 2010 following a major renovation. The main concert hall seats 666 and the chamber hall 185. Programming includes symphonic and chamber concerts, the BOOM cycle (ballet, opera, operetta, musical), and educational events for schools across the Podkarpacie region.
