Szczecin, Poland
Kino Kosmos is a listed historic building on al. Wojska Polskiego in Szczecin, opened in 1959 as the city's first post-war public cultural venue. It was placed on the heritage register in 2007, largely due to its celebrated mosaic created by local artists Sławomir Lewiński and Emanuel Messer. After closing in 2003 and falling into disrepair, the building was renovated and reopened in 2019. Today its 500 m² main hall and covered courtyard host concerts, theatre performances, festivals, and other cultural events.
