Amyl and the Sniffers are an Australian pub rock and punk band from Melbourne, formed in 2016, consisting of vocalist Amy Taylor, guitarist Declan Mehrtens, bassist Gus Romer, and drummer Bryce Wilson. They broke through internationally with their self-titled 2019 debut and cemented their reputation with Comfort to Me (2021) and Cartoon Darkness (2024), the latter earning them their first Grammy nomination and sweeping the 2025 ARIA Awards. Known for ferocious live shows and Taylor's magnetic stage presence, they have grown from Melbourne pub gigs to headlining amphitheatres across three continents.
Amyl and the Sniffers won three awards at the 2026 APRA Music Awards, including Song of the Year for 'Jerkin'' - their second consecutive APRA Song of the Year win.
