Ecca Vandal is a Melbourne-based singer, rapper and songwriter born in South Africa to Sri Lankan Tamil refugee parents, who trained as a jazz musician before carving out a sound that collides punk, hip-hop and alternative rock. Her self-titled 2017 debut drew 4.5-star reviews from Rolling Stone and praise from NME, and she has toured alongside Queens of the Stone Age, The Prodigy and Incubus.
